With default preferences I cant download anything because of this error. Of course, I have free space on my HD.

Changing the HD didnt work.
Changing download directory to other shorter like "c:/tribler" didnt work.
Changing preferences didnt work.
Reinstalling didnt work.

Tested with Windows XP SP3.

Strange. Note that you do need to restart Tribler when changing the default
download dir. Could you check what your \Program
Files\Tribler\tribler.exe.log says on startup?

We found a bug here: The check for free disk space while collecting looks at
the profile dir of a user, C:\Documents and Settings\User, not the defined
collect dir. But that doesn't explain all symptoms.

Could you check for:
meta: cannot get free space of XYZ

in the same log and post that line and the Traceback stack trace that follows
it?

The only workaround we can offer is:
1. Move your C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\.Tribler
directory to a disk with free space.
2. Remove all .pickle files from the .Tribler dir.
3. Open a CMD prompt
4. Type: set APPDATA=XYZ
where XYZ is the full path of the directory *containing* the .Tribler dir.
5. Start Tribler from the command line: \program files\tribler\tribler.exe

When can we expect to see the mac version of 4.5 for intel? We have been waiting for a while now.
If it is just a matter of recompiling then why don't you post the mac source code in case someone can recompile it for the intel platform?

Just because there isn't a mac version for 4.5 doesn't mean this ticket isn't fixed, closing it again.

COA III, KED, autorec, rev 75 from SVN - but it seems like the captured data deteriorated at some point of running autorec (firmware running some time) as consecutive recordings of my phone brought quite bad audio - while it was clear before.

Another thing I've noticed: there are usually a few noise fragments at the beginning of each capture - but those blocks quickly get shorter and disappear.
