I work in the tribler tream doing research. I am trying to bring a socio-economic perspective to P2P. I think current P2P file sharing systems, like BitTorrent, are essentially global economic experiments from which we may observe new economic phenomena. From such observation it might be possible to produce more efficient systems and to formulate new kinds of economic principles that could be re-applied back to human social systems to increase liberty and combat global corruption.
